Video

A weekly video batch that ships without a freelancer chasing it.

How a weekly edit queue, a Frame.io review loop, and cadence-only delivery replace the freelancer scramble. One founder POV every Friday.

Weekly video on Mainbrace is a queued edit batch, not a freelancer scramble. Every Friday, a short-form cut ships: one founder POV, one product hook, one paid-social cut, and a captioned export ready for the channel the platform expects. The cadence is the deliverable — the calendar entry the marketing work plans around without checking in on whether the editor is free this week.

The intake lives on Frame.io. The founder drops raw footage (a phone-recorded founder POV, a screen capture of a new dashboard, a Loom for the new product) into the queue ahead of the Monday morning planning call. The same call commits the week's three cuts to the queue; nothing moves into editing until there is a queue. Frame handles review: comments land on the timeline, not in Slack.

Editing runs Tuesday and Wednesday at the Mainbrace studio. Captions are word-by-word, not auto-generated then stranded; the same editor who cut the hook writes the captions so a beat dropped from the cut drops from the caption set too. Vertical and horizontal exports both ship — the channel decides the aspect, not the editing cycle.

Thursday is review. The draft lands on Frame.io before end of day. Comments narrow to timeline annotations; a Slack thread with a 14-message argument about whether a music selection was on-brand never opens. The founder's Friday morning is the last review window — comments in by 10am go into the Friday cut, after 10am go into the following week's queue. The rule keeps Friday a deliverable, not a deadline.

A short-form cut that ships every Friday does what a freelancer scramble never does: it compounds. The audience sees a rhythm. The algorithm rewards a rhythm. The team plans against a rhythm. None of that is possible if the editor is on another client's retainer the week the founder needs the founder POV cut.
